No Time To Rest! Kirkcaldy Comic Con Incoming.

What an incredible weekend we had at Glasgow Film & Comic Con! The atmosphere was electric, with countless happy visitors and an amazing mix of traders. Many of these traders have been part of the comic con scene for over a decade, bringing unique and unusual products that you won’t find in the bargain section of B&M. It felt like a throwback to the golden days when comic cons were the highlight of the year.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Our next adventure takes us to Kirkcaldy Comic Con, hosted by the fantastic BGCP. Mark your calendars for 31st August 2024 (this weekend!) at the Mercat Shopping Centre.

BGCP is all about putting the FUN back into comic cons and no, we don’t mean endless stalls of Funko. This is a free-to-attend event, but don’t let that fool you into thinking there’s not much to do. Expect free meet and greets with beloved characters and mascots, which are always a hit with the kids. Plus, there’s a growing collection of TV and film props on display and a plethora of fascinating stalls to explore, including ours!

These events are a haven for cosplayers, and being in a shopping centre means you can make a full day of it. Enjoy reasonably priced food and drinks without having to choose between a £15 doughnut or a tiny plate of chips for a tenner.
