The Peanut Cats have been expanding their ranks again, but this time they are not arriving alone.
Six new miniature sets designed by Found Family Adventurecrafts have just been added to the website. There are three new collections of Peanut Cats, plus something completely new to the range, the first three sets of Peanut Pups.
Apparently the cats were not causing quite enough trouble on their own.
Three New Peanut Cat Sets
The new Peanut Cat additions cover creative hobbies, a tiny marching band and a particularly difficult-to-categorise assortment of heroes, kittens and cats dressed as other objects.
Peanut Cats: Creative Passions
The Creative Passions Peanut Cats are busy making things rather than knocking them off shelves.
This set features four creative little cats, including a musician with a guitar, a gardener, an artist and a baker. They are perfect for a characterful painting project, a light-hearted tabletop encounter or simply adding a little more Peanut Cat energy to your display.
Peanut Cats: Marching Band
The Peanut Cat Marching Band includes a flautist, trumpet player, bass drummer and snare drummer.
They could be leading a grand royal procession, celebrating the party’s latest victory or marching directly through a carefully planned dramatic scene while making an unreasonable amount of noise.
Peanut Cats: Miscellaneous
Some Peanut Cats fit neatly into a theme. These ones absolutely do not.
The Miscellaneous Peanut Cats include a flag-carrying cat, a magical hero, a classic caped superhero, a tiny chubby Peanut Kitten and a Peanut Cat wearing a peanut costume.
It is a varied selection, but I am not sure anyone could argue that a cat dressed as a peanut belongs anywhere else.
Brand New to the Range: Peanut Pups
The Peanut Cats are now joined by the first wave of Peanut Pups, a new collection of stylised dogs dressed in fantasy adventuring costumes.
Each pup comes ready to join a rather unusual adventuring party, with different fantasy character designs built around three very distinctive dog shapes.
Peanut Pups: Chihuahua
First up is Chiweewee, the Chihuahua Peanut Pup.
Small, pointy and equipped with an impressive pair of ears, Chiweewee could also work as a miniature pinscher, rat terrier or whichever tiny bat-shaped dog has decided it is coming on the adventure.
Peanut Pups: Weenie the Dachshund
Weenie brings a much longer and lower shape to the party.
This determined little Dachshund has been dressed for fantasy adventure, proving that short legs are no barrier to becoming a bard, fighter, ranger, rogue or wizard.
Peanut Pups: Jowly
Finally, there is Jowly, a stout and wrinkly adventurer with wide-set features and a stubby tail.
Jowly is ideal for representing a pug, boxer, bully or any similarly solid little dog whose expression suggests they have already heard enough from the rest of the party.
