Where to Find BlueCyborg in November 2026 (and How October Went)

November is looking a little quieter than October. Which, after MCM London, is probably just as well.

Where We're Going in November

Falkirk Comic Con | 14–15 November

We'll be at Falkirk Comic Con in the Howgate Shopping Centre on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November.

We'll have our usual assortment of tabletop games, dice, gaming accessories, cosplay ID cards and whatever else I've managed to squeeze onto the tables.

If you're in Falkirk that weekend, come and say hello. Have a look around, pick up something new, or admire my questionable ability to judge how much stock will fit on a stall.

It's our only confirmed event for November, so hopefully we'll see you there.

A Quick Look Back at October

October was a bit of a contrast.

MCM Comic Con London | 23–25 October

MCM London was its usual combination of long days, busy aisles and an unreasonable amount of stock to transport halfway across the country.

It was a busy weekend, with plenty of games, dice and other tabletop goodies finding new homes.

Of course, getting everything there was only half the job. Once the show finished, there was the small matter of packing it all away, driving back to Scotland and getting straight back to the online orders.

Apparently, finishing a convention doesn't mean finishing work.

Girvan Comic Con | 31 October

We finished October with something rather different: Girvan Comic Con on Halloween.

After the scale of MCM London, a small local event with a much shorter setup and trading day was quite an adjustment.

It was a quieter day, but we still had people stopping by to browse the games, pick up some dice and have a chat.

And for once, packing the stall away didn't feel like a major logistical operation.

Apparently, It's Christmas Now

Halloween is barely over and my wife has informed me that it's officially Christmas season.

I suspect this is happening in households across the country. Folk are taking pumpkins down with one hand and putting Christmas trees up with the other. November has apparently been cancelled and I don't remember being consulted.

But Christmas season does mean board game season, and that's something I can get behind.

There's only so much Christmas television you can watch before realising it's the same old shite you've seen every year. And while there's nothing wrong with a family game of Monopoly, there are considerably better ways to spend an evening than arguing over who owns Mayfair.

We've got plenty of alternatives at BlueCyborg, from quick, easy-to-learn card games that you can get out after Christmas dinner, to bigger board games you can really get your teeth into.

Whether you're looking for something the whole family can play, a game to bring out when friends visit, or something a bit more involved for the serious gamers around the table, there's plenty to choose from.

And if you're not sure what to get, come and have a chat at Falkirk. I'm always happy to help you find something that doesn't involve passing Go and collecting £200.

You can find all our upcoming appearances on the BlueCyborg Convention Schedule.
