In Backstories: Alone Under the Ice, you take on the role of Sophie and set out to uncover the truth in a cooperative narrative adventure where the choices you make affect how the story unfolds.
Backstories uses a clever system inspired by point-and-click adventure games. Panorama cards show the locations you explore, while perforated Action cards let you search, talk, investigate and use objects. Place an Action card against a location, turn it over and discover the result of your decision.
Different choices can send the story in different directions, so think carefully — your decisions have consequences.
