There are days when being a wandering merchant feels like it should be glamorous.
This is not one of those days.
Today is van-packing day for Paisley Comic Con by BGCP, and naturally, the weather has decided to go full Scotland. It is absolutely chucking it down.
But the van still needs packed, because tomorrow I’ll be in Paisley, set up, dried off if I’m lucky, and ready to show you what I’ve been working on.
The trickiest part with this one is the setup window. I’ll only have around two hours to get the stall built, stocked, and looking vaguely like a professional operation. If you’ve seen me at cons before, you’ll know that usually means there’s a fair chance I’ll still be putting the finishing touches on things when the doors open.
That tight setup also means I have to be brutal about what comes with me. And that’s the hard bit, because there’s so much good stuff right now that picking and choosing feels almost impossible.
Still, I’ve made some choices. Probably too many choices. But good ones.
New dice, new pin badges, and some very handy card-saving kit
I’ve got a ton of new dice heading to the stall, including fresh sets I’m genuinely excited to get in front of people. If you like having a good rummage through dice in person, this is very much your warning.

I’ll also have new pin badges with me, now looking much better on backing cards, which makes them far nicer as gifts and a lot less likely to disappear into the void before you even get them home.
I’m also bringing the PKUP Card Lifting Tool, a small but very clever bit of kit for card players. It’s especially handy if you play or collect Pokémon cards, as it helps lift cards without digging your nails into the edge or risking damage to the card surface. Simple idea, really useful.

Cat Earth is back too
I’ll also have a restock of Cat Earth, the fast, funny family game that made a big impression with me recently. It’s easy to teach, easy to get to the table, and exactly the sort of game that works well when you want something light, quick, and actually fun.
It’s been one of those games people pick up, play, laugh at, and then immediately understand why I’ve been talking about it so much.

Cryptic Killers are fully restocked
I’ve also got a full restock of Cryptic Killers coming with me. These are brilliant if you like murder mystery games, cold case files, puzzle-solving, or just sitting round a table accusing your friends and family of missing obvious clues.
They’re a great fit for anyone who likes their games a bit more investigative, a bit more story-led, and just a little bit sinister.

Loads of new miniatures
I’ll also have loads of miniatures with me, including event-stock pieces that are much easier to browse in person than online. Miniatures are one of those ranges where seeing the sculpt up close makes a big difference, so if you like finding something odd, characterful, useful, ridiculous, or all four at once, have a rummage.
This is exactly the kind of thing I struggle to leave behind when space is limited.

A few highlights I’m excited to show off
Come and see me at Paisley Comic Con
So yes, today is wet boxes, awkward lifting, tight setup planning, and questioning several life choices.
Tomorrow, though, is the good bit.
I’ll be at Paisley Comic Con by BGCP with dice, pins, games, card accessories, Cryptic Killers, miniatures, tabletop bits, and the usual BlueCyborg mix of things I actually like enough to stand behind at a stall all day.
If you’re coming along, pop by and say hello. Have a look through the new dice, check out the badges, ask me about Cat Earth, dig through the miniatures, grab a mystery case from Cryptic Killers, or let me show you why the PKUP is such a neat little thing for card collectors.
Rain or shine, I’ll see you tomorrow.
