The Helm Paladin was once a young squire in service to a knightly order dedicated to the god of protection and guardianship, Helm. He was trained in the art of combat and honed his skills with the sword and shield. However, he always had a passion for the finer things in life, and as he rose through the ranks, he became known for his extravagant taste in armor and accessories.
When he finally achieved the rank of Paladin, the Helm Paladin commissioned a master blacksmith to craft him a suit of armor like no other. It was ornate and covered in intricate engravings, with a gleaming silver finish that sparkled in the sunlight. He also had a shield made to match, but with a unique twist - he had it cut up into several smaller pieces so that he could wield them independently in battle.
Some of his fellow Paladins scoffed at his ostentatious display, but the Helm Paladin paid them no mind. He knew that his flashy appearance and unorthodox tactics had saved lives on more than one occasion. And besides, he thought to himself with a grin, there was no harm in looking good while doing good.
