As the party made their way through the dark dungeon, they came across a treasure room filled with gold and precious gems. In the center of the room lay a beautiful and ornate rug, with intricate patterns and vibrant colours. Without hesitation, one of the adventurers stepped forward to grab the rug, but as soon as they touched it, the rug sprang to life, wrapping itself around the hapless hero. The rest of the party quickly realized that they were dealing with a Rug of Smothering, a magical item that could suffocate its victims. They leapt into action, trying to pry the rug off their comrade before it was too late. The struggle was intense, with the rug writhing and thrashing about, but eventually they were able to defeat it and free their friend from its deadly embrace.
